Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. This role plays a key part in shaping the future of our Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse initiatives by driving data-informed solutions that strengthen our operations and deliver meaningful value across the organization. You will partner closely with an experienced team and with cross-functional stakeholders, while reporting directly to our Business Intelligence Program Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within a dynamic, high-performing environment.

How you'll make an impact

As a Business Analyst at GB, you'll:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define systems' scope and objectives through research and analysis.
• Analyze business processes, identify and address process inefficiencies.
• You will assist with the design and implementation of operational and system improvements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
• Write clear, actionable business requirements and oversee user acceptance testing with stakeholders and vendors.
• Build trust and foster strong relationships with key business partners.
• Navigate complex technical environments, managing data from multiple platforms and vendors.
• Bring clarity to ambiguous projects and guide teams toward impactful solutions.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Worker's Compensation Claims data

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Has experience in business analysis, data integration, and analytics (5+ years in a BSA role, 4+ years in SQL, 2+ years in Analytics/BI).
• Is proficient in SQL and has worked with disparate data sources to create unified solutions.
• Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, facilitating meetings and building trust.
• Thinks strategically, aligning business and technical objectives to deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Excels in documentation, creating clear and concise business requirements documents (BRDs).
• Thrives in a collaborative environment, working across teams and managing competing priorities.
• Is adaptable to different project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
• Has knowledge of Worker's Compensation Claims data.
