Description
This role provides financial reporting, accounting, and controllership support to the Data & Analytics Engineering Division, ensuring accurate financial outputs, adherence to Group policies, and strong internal controls.Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review internal and external financial reports for the Data & Analytics Engineering Division, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Support analysis of material variances and provide insights to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all reporting cycles.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with Group Accounting Policies and governance requirements.
- Support responses to internal and external audit queries, ensuring timely and complete submissions.
- Ensure adherence to LSEG accounting, regulatory, and reporting standards.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for month-end and quarter-end close.
- Collaborate with Finance Operations, Controllership, and Business Finance teams to ensure an accurate and efficient close process.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, IFRS principles, and internal control frameworks.
- Experience with month-end close, journal entry preparation, variance analysis, and audit-ready documentation.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and comfort managing large datasets.
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP/reporting systems is an advantage.
- Experience in financial control, accounting, reporting, or audit within a complex/matrix organization.
- Exposure to working with cross-functional teams (Finance, Technology, Business partners).
- Demonstrated ability to support internal/external audits with strong documentation discipline.
