The Metropolitan Council is the regional planning agency for the Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area providing essential services to our region: transportation, wastewater treatment, growth and development of local communities, affordable housing programs, and regional park systems.
This position is eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking.
The Associate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) partners closely with and supports their assigned HR Business Partner to bridge HR processes with business objectives to assigned business units. Assists with HR consultation and support in the areas of managing employee performance, employee relations, conflict resolution, job classification, reorganization and restructuring, and compensation.
Salary Range: $82,555.00 - $133,973.00 Annually

Requirements
Any of the following combinations in completed education (degree field of study in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Public Administration, or closely related field) and experience (providing HR support in multiple HR functional areas such as employee relations, performance management, job classification, and compensation):
- High school diploma/GED with seven years of experience
- Associate degree with five years of experience
- Bachelor's degree with three years of experience
- Master's degree with one year of experience
