About our client

We are working with a global fund based in Abu Dhabi, backed by long-term institutional capital and focused on climate-aligned investing worldwide. The firm is in the early stages of developing its core investing capability and is looking to hire an Associate to join the team. What the job involves

• Supporting fund investments across a broad climate and sustainability-linked mandate, including manager screening, due diligence and underwriting
• Assisting with selective co-investments alongside fund managers, from evaluation through execution
• Preparing investment materials, analysis and recommendations for Investment Committee review
• Contributing to portfolio construction, monitoring and performance analysis
• Working closely with senior investment leadership to help build institutional investment processes and frameworks
• Gaining exposure across a wide range of strategies, managers and geographies as the platform scales

Who we are looking for

• Experience from a top-tier investment banking, private equity, or institutional LP / advisory background
• An interest in or exposure to climate, energy transition, infrastructure or industrials is a plus, but not essential
• Strong analytical, modelling and written investment skills
• Comfortable working in a lean, fast-evolving environment where processes are still being developed
• Willingness and ability to relocate to the UAE on a full-time basis
