We are looking for an Assistant Golf Professional for a year round postion at the iconic Bethpage Golf Course in Farmingdale, NY. This is perfect for a PGM Senior or Graduate looking to start their career as an Assistant Professional to learn and grow to potentially move into upper management within the company such as Head Golf Professional, Director of Instruction or General Manager. We operate 5 courses on Long Island including Bethpage, Montauk Downs, Harbor Links, Pine Ridge, Merrick and Lido Golf Courses.
The Assistant Teaching Professional at Bethpage will be responsible for shop and range hours and assisting with all junior golf programs throughout the year. This includes our Junior Development program, PGA Junior League and Boys and Girls Golf programs.
Experience Required
Junior Golf coaching experience preferred.
Essential Responsibilities
This position is part pro shop and part instruction. Essential responsibilities include day to day operations, checking in golfers, merchandising, selling range buckets, organizing driving range, using Golf Genius, teaching junior golf programs and adult beginner instructional programs.
