Overview

The Glades Golf & Country Club is seeking a PGA Golf Professional Class A, or someone looking to become a PGA Professional. Looking to start ASAP

We are a 36-hole, private, bundled community in the heart of Naples. Both courses were recently renovated and grassed with beautiful Paspalum Platinum grass, wall to wall. The Pines course measures 5,400 yards, par 70. Our Palmetto course measures out to 2,000 yards, par 55. Both courses are always in absolutely perfect condition.

We do not have a driving range. We have an indoor learning center with technology and utilize the golf courses for instruction.

Work hours November 1 - May 1: Sunday through Thursday; off Friday and Saturday. Golf Shop is open 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Work hours in May - November 1 - 4 days a week, 3 days off; closed Mondays. Golf Shop is open 7:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Experience Required

• PGA Class A Member in good standing or in studies to become a Class A Pro.
• Proficiency in tee time management using Chelsea
• Proficiency in Golf Genius
• Ability to provide instruction to players of all skill levels
• Engaging personality; professional and respectful
• Experience with Northstar point of sale
• Highly organized and adaptable
• Strong leadership qualities
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Strong knowledge of the USGA Rules of Golf

Essential Responsibilities

• Tournament operations: We run 450+ league rounds a week utilizing both golf courses. Candidate MUST have a strong understanding of Golf Genius Premium Tournament Software
• Assist the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf with day-to-day operations.
• Help with handling and displaying merchandise.
• Assist members with tee times using Chelsea.
• Play with members when time permits.

Benefits

$60,000 base salary + lesson/clinic income

Approx $68,000+

100% Lesson Income - $50/half hour - $100/hour

Clinics - $25/per person
